In a bay rounded of the Taurus mountains, you will find this picturesque fishing place with friendly pensions, small hotels, beautiful yacht harbour, restaurants and bars. The close alleys of Kas unite turkish and greek culture. The lykian rocktombs and the ancient theatre - monuments of the exciting past - are worth seeing.

The centre of the village is at the port where you can find a lot of pubs and restaurants. You follow a picturesque alley to the old greek quarter. Here artists, antique dealers, souvenir shops, leather and carpet dealers have settled mainly. The street ends at a lykian grave in good condition.
ABOUT THE BEACHES
Small bath plateaus with cafes and a small pebble beach are directly at the hotel of the Diving Centre. From the port small fishing boats go for the "Limanase" beach several times daily. The Kaputas and Patara sandy beaches can be reached with public minibuses.
